Buddha is the Antichrist
2 July 07In the Hindu religion, and other southeast Asian mythos there are mysterious snake like creatures known as the Naga. The Naga sometimes called dragons, are beings that are protectors of nature. They also have a negative side being able to bring about great disasters. This traditional legend of the Naga in Hinduism has been blended with that of the many tales of the Buddha.
In Buddhism, the Nagas are giant snakes with mystical powers; and some possess the ability to change into humans. It is the king of the Naga Mucalinda that this will be the focus of.
In the Christian Book of Revelation in the Bible 13:1
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.”
In the legend of Mucalinda, it is said that there was a great storm that brewed for seven days. Mucalinda the king of the Naga, a serpent with seven heads, saw the Buddha meditating by the lake. Buddha was getting soaked in the rain. Mucalinda feeling bad for Buddha, left the lake and wrapped himself under the Buddha. Using his hoods Mucalinda placed his head over Buddha to protect him from the rain.

The Book of Revelation 13:4
bq. “And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”
There are a few things in common here, the seven headed creatures and the correlation between serpent and beast or serpent and Buddha. Mucalinda the seven headed serpent does not possess ten horns as the Book of Revelation mentions. However Mucalinda does give aid to Buddha much as the dragon gave power to the beast. The coincidence between the two is astounding, however all is not as it seems.
The Buddha, could in fact be displaying his power over the spirits or demonic by having the Naga, secede to his will. Another scenario could be that the Naga respects Buddha for his spiritual ascent and as such seeks to shelter him out of compassion. According to some Christian belief on this, Satan is the great deceiver. The Mucalinda representing Satan and Buddha the Beast or Anti-Christ. It would be one of Satan’s great deceiving tricks to convince the world that Buddhism; perhaps one of the world’s most gentle and passive religions was in fact anti-christian.
Thankfully though the Biblical passage referring to the beast and Mucalinda the seven headed serpent are just coincidence. Why do I say this? Well I left out one key passage in the Book of Revelation between the two.
Revelation 13:2
bq. “And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”
Mucalinda is not like a leopard. It is here I must apologize to my dear readers for the deception. I did this to show that there are many things, readings, news, history, etc. that can be taken out of context. No doubt you my intelligent readers already knew this, but it is a point that cannot be emphasized enough with today’s modern media. While the Buddha is not the anti-christ, he does remain a revered and holy being. Given enough time any deceit though anything can seem true.
