The perpetual lamp has been written about and pondered by many a spirtualist. The lamp is said to be a traditional light used in the tombs, and crypts of the early Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Rosicrucians, and Jewish people.

The Rebuttal
I’ve been reading articles on excommunicate.net off and on for a couple years now. I find many of them very helpful + enjoyable in various ways, but found one which I think is quite inaccurate and could use some re-thinking, editing, or a commentary from a different perspective. This article, written on 9/6/07 is called “Thelema, a destructive path?” (http://www.excommunicate.net/thelema-a-destructive-path). Here are some of my thoughts on this issue, from the perspective of a Thelemite. I’m sure other Thelemites would have more to say, and I’m certainly no authority on the matter.
One more thing, I hope you, the author, or whomever takes the time to read this, since I did put a lot of thought and time into it. Please don’t interpret any of it as hostile either; no emotion or insult is intended in any of my response.
Chapter 1
