11 January 08

Day 199 of 365 new ways to a new you. Congratulations, you have made it this far. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Are you ready for tomorrow? This is part of a series that is going to span 365 days. Some things will be subtle other activities will be more involved. At the end of the 365 days even if you do only 20 of these things you will be a new person, for better or for worse.

Before I begin with day 199, I must defer you to our Terms and Conditions .

Day 199: Dig a hole
Get a shovel, and dig a hole. Dig down as deep as you can. If possible dig the hole large enough to stand in it. After you feel you have dug your hole deep enough, admire it. Take the time to study the different sediment layers. Look at the different shades and hue of dirt. The deeper you go the longer the ground has been untouched before. As you look at the layers of sediment remember that even some of it was there during the time of dinosaurs. The earth is constantly shifting and changing and you just got a glimpse into history. When you are done fill in the hole.
