Learn a trade | Day 297
2 May 08Day 297 of 365 new ways to a new you. Congratulations, you have made it this far. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Are you ready for tomorrow? This is part of a series that is going to span 365 days. Some things will be subtle other activities will be more involved. At the end of the 365 days even if you do only 20 of these things you will be a new person, for better or for worse.

You can’t learn everything you need to know about a trade in a day but you can get the basics.
Day 297: Learn a trade
Pick a trade such as carpentry, plumbing, locksmithing, electrician, jeweler, mechanic, etc. Try and learn as much as you can about what it is the trade does, as well as basic techniques of the trade. Can you find a way to learn any specific trade secrets. Will you choose book or actually finding someone to spend the day with? The choice is yours but end the day knowing that you learned a little bit more.
