Day 95 of 365 new ways to a new you. Congratulations, you have made it this far. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Are you ready for tomorrow? This is part of a series that is going to span 365 days. Some things will be subtle other activities will be more involved. In the era of the mp3 player, live music is often overlooked. Most of us tend to forget that music is performed by people and then recorded. The only people who do remember that music is played live are musicians.

Day 95: Listen to live music
You may need to go to the city for this depending upon where you live. Listen to live music. Check to see if your local bar is having any musicians there any time soon. Go to a major concert if one happens to coincide with today. Or just find a street performer, typically you can find street performers playing a variety of instruments.

Succumb to the melody, the beat, and rhythm of the music. What makes it different than the prerecorded music you hear everyday? Now imagine what it would be like without any prerecorded music. Imagine what it must’ve been like to hear one of Beethoven’s concertos. We are very lucky to have music on demand, savor it and appreciate it.
