Memorial

In loving memory of all those we have lost

The Excommunicate memorial can best be described as an eternal tribute to those whose lives have touched us. No matter how small or how large, may the souls listed here within these pages never be forgotten

If you have a loved one not seen on this list whom you would like remembered please contact us via the suggestions page. Use the subject memorial, please provide us with their age and date of death if you have it. Most important is what you would like to say about them. A candle will be lit in memory of all those entered onto these pages.

Robert Anton Wilson

On January 1, 2007 Robert Anton Wilson, left this world. We here at Excommunicate can’t tell you how saddening it is to see one of the most brilliant writers to have left us. From the genius of his Illuminatus Triology to the mind jarring experiences offered from his Discordian philosophy, we owe him a debt of gratitude.

While we may have not known him personally his influence will never be forgotten. As we look ahead we can only hope that more will embrace his teachings. More importantly still we hope that the human spirit and its generosity will continue to thrive. For were it not for the kindness and generosity of the people of the world, RAW would not have even had his apartment to spend his final days.

To you RAW, ERIS, Malaclypse the Younger, and Lord Omar Khayyam Ravenhurst we say goodbye. We also say hello to the new God you have become. So let the candle lit this eve call out to your spirit and guide you to those that need you most.

Hail Eris!

Val alias Painfetish

1 April 2006

Today I say goodbye. i say goodbye to a brilliant writer and an old friend. I speak of the passing on of a brilliant writer0. I may not have been around much lately but I do wish I had. Perhaps I could’ve gained some insight as to what was going on in his life recently. Alas I was not and for that I am truely sorry.

But I cannot dwell in the past that was not, but I msut look to the present and the future that is. Holding those we knew close and not losing touch with friends. Val was someone who gave me tremendous feedback and knowledge. Both for myself and to better others. I do not know what he was going through but I can only imagine the pains if he there was only one way out. I salute you my friend.

Last night I said my prayers and let a candle burn in his memory as the fire died so did the sun rise. Allowing safe passage some day when his soul is ready to move on. I will not forget what he has done nor what his work will do for people in the future. With these final words I say good bye and I ask that whatever divine power watches over us watch over him as well and guide him safely inw hatever form he may exist. Be it energy or spirit. I ask this not in my name but the true name of the divine IHVH.

Amen.

Many thanks and praises go to you Val for your work and inspiration. May you rest easy now.
