Day 13 of 365 new ways to a new you. Congratulations, you have made it this far. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Are you ready for tomorrow? This is part of a series that is going to span 365 days. Some things will be subtle other activities will be more involved. At the end of the 365 days even if you do only 20 of these things you will be a new person, for better or for worse.

Before I begin with day thirteen, I must defer you to our Terms and Conditions .

Day in and day out of the same monotony can slowly effect one’s health and mental psychology. How long before one just can’t take the social pressures any more? One needs to get away sometimes, and forget about their obligations, job, and problems.

Day 13: Plan a vacation
Get out your map and take a good long look at it. What place on that map would you love to visit? Where have you been? Is there any place you’d like to go again?

When you find a place you would like to go. Think of what you need to do to be able to take a vacation there. How much money will you need, will you drive or fly there? When you have that decided, select a date and inform whomever you need to.

By taking periodic vacations, we allow ourselves time to recharge, and re-imagine the world. It often happens that when we develop monotonous predictable schedules, we forget about the beauty of life. The vacation is to help remind oneself that they are alive!
