Day 136 of 365 new ways to a new you. Congratulations, you have made it this far. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Are you ready for tomorrow? This is part of a series that is going to span 365 days. Some things will be subtle other activities will be more involved. At the end of the 365 days even if you do only 20 of these things you will be a new person, for better or for worse.
Before I begin with day 136, I must defer you to our Terms and Conditions .
Speaking with accent is not only an entertaining activity but also challenging. The better your accent the more “interesting” people may find you, unless they already know you.
Day 136: Speak with an accent
You can pick any accent French, Spanish, northern territory, southern territory, English, American, German, Chinese, Japaneses, Irish. Whatever accent you pick you must stay with for the day. Speak to as many people as you can with your accent. The real challenge comes when you can deceive the real deal. If you are fortunate enough to encounter someone with your accent, strike up a conversation with them.
If you are believable they will ask you where you are from so do your homework. The challenge of speaking with an accent is not necessarily the ability to change one’s inflections. The challenge is to convince people of something you are not. If you can deceive someone into believing you are from Italy then imagine what else you can do.
