Walk barefoot | Day 150

Day 150 of 365 new ways to a new you. Congratulations, you have made it this far. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Are you ready for tomorrow? This is part of a series that is going to span 365 days. Some things will be subtle other activities will be more involved. At the end of the 365 days even if you do only 20 of these things you will be a new person, for better or for worse.

As children we may spend much of our time running around outside barefoot. Our feet think nothing of the cold hard ground under our feet as we romp and play. Over time we lose that ability.

Day 150: Walk barefoot
Try and spend as much of the day bare foot as you can. Go into restaurants stores wherever you are able. You may think many of those places don’t want you in there bare foot, but even more aren’t labeled. Walking around barefoot gives one the opportunity to feel the earth, the floor, the carpet, beneath their feet. Over the course of time are feet get used to the ground and we develop resistances to stones, glass etc. While being barefoot for a day won’t get your feet immune to such things it will certainly give you an appreciation for socks and shoes again.
